Meet the Men Behind the M in McCoy & Associates

McCoy & Associates is a labor of love born out of the necessity to help guide minority-led businesses through the digital revolution and into a more profitable future. Co-founders, Joshua and Tyrone McCoy, decided to jump-start a digital marketing agency to walk minority and LGBTQ+ businesses through digital marketing, social media outreach and engagement, content marketing, and growth strategies. But we know that trusting someone else with your business and your money can be icky. So, we figured a virtual icebreaker could help you learn more about us. Here are five facts about the men behind the “M” in McCoy & Associates.

About Tyrone

1. Where are you from? I was born in Philadelphia, PA, but raised in Statesboro, GA.

2. What is your favorite color? Electric blue

3. If you could be an animal, what would you be and why? I'd be a dolphin because as happy and magnificent as they are, there’s still so little known about them. In a lot of ways, that’s how I feel I am.

4. What is your go-to karaoke anthem? Anything by Stevie Wonder; “You Are the Sunshine of My Life”.

5. If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life, what would you pick? Time. It’s our most valuable resource and with an unlimited supply of it, I’d take the time to love and cherish and create more memories with my family.

3. If you could be an animal, what would you be and why? Turtles, because I could take my secure ADT proofed home with me.

5. If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life, what would you pick? Gas, because I love to travel!
